ROSA HEAVY HITTERS - 2019/2020
The ROSA Heavy Hitters program is again being offered for free. This program is for ROSA / XTREME players of all ages and is a great opportunity for players to develop their hitting over the off-season.
This program offers our players access to open hitting stations three nights a week. The hitting stations are self led and and range from bunting, pitching machines and several batting tee stations. A representative from ROSA will be present at each session and will be more than happy to help you learn new station drills along the way.
IMPORTANT: All girls and parents that come to the new ROSA winter facility MUST bring a change of shoes in order to keep the floors dry and clean. Please change your shoes in the front room before entering the practice area.

Each year we reward a "Heavy Hitter" T-Shirt to our players with the highest attendance. You may notice them on various players working hard at the tees. Be sure to track your attendance on our check-in sheet posted at the ROSA facility for a chance to win a 2019/2020 ROSA Heavy Hitters T-Shirt.
* The Heavy Hitter Check-In sheet will be left at the ROSA Winter Facility, so be sure to add stickers for any nights completed at Rogers High School.

PITCHING CLINICS - 2019/2020
The pitching clinic provides each girl individual instruction on the skills of fastpitch pitching. This includes technique, speed improvement, control, and different types of pitches. Instruction is individualized. If you want to learn how to pitch or work on improving your skills, this clinic is for you. There is limited enrollment so sign up early! Cost is $300 for 15 sessions - an email will be sent with payment link once your spot is confirmed.

Our clinician is Angie Recknor, a former Hopkins and (4) year starting pitcher for the University of Minnesota and Pitching Coach at Hamline University. Sessions will be 1 hour long and will run weekly on Wednesday evenings. There will be a total of 15 session over this 16 week period (1 week off listed above)

Our clinicians are Stan Waldhauser and Madie Mikolich. Madie is a former Rogers High School Varsity Player and continued to play fastpitch at the college of St. Benedict. Stan has been a pitching coach for many years, and a pioneer of girls fastpitch in Minnesota. Sessions will be 1 hour long and will run weekly on Sunday evenings. There will be a total of 15 session over this 16 week period (1 week off listed above)

ROSA 2019 Pitching Clinic (Entry Level)
ROSA is now offering a 4 week pitching clinic that will be geared towards entry level pitchers. If your daughter is interested in pitching for the first time (possibly moving from 8U to 10U) or has some experience but is looking for more, this clinic will be perfect. The clinic is being put on by the ROSA board and we are planning to have experienced high school aged pitchers involved to work with the kids.
Cost: $40
Sessions: 4 (45 minutes each)
Dates: Saturdays in February (February 2, 9, 16, 23)
Times: 2:00 pm - 2:45 pm or 2:55 pm - 3:40 pm

ROSA 2019 Coach and Parent Training
This year ROSA is offering 4 training sessions for coaches and parents. These sessions will be geared towards providing training and information to potential coaches as well as any parents looking for more information on how and what they should be working on with their players. Our Rogers Varsity Head Coach (Jerry Bruns) will be leading portions of the training and will be bringing in other experts that can help provide information on fast pitch skills. The heavy hitters program is again being offered for free this year. This program is for ROSA players of all ages and is a great opportunity to continue to develop our hitters in the off-season. Please bring your helmet, bat and an adult to go through the hitting stations. Once again, our top hitters (by attendance) will be rewarded with a t-shirt at the end of the heavy hitters season. ROSA 2019 Catching Clinic
ROSA is excited to partner with Olivia Olson in 2019 and offer an 8 week clinic designed specifically for our 8U - 12U catchers. Olivia is currently at St. Benz and is a former Rogers High School catcher. This clinic will be on Sunday's for 8 weeks starting in early January 2019.
Clinic Cost: $100
Clinic Duration: 8 Sessions (1 hour sessions)
Clinic Dates: January 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th and February 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
Clinic Times: 2 pm or 3 pm (sign up for one or the other)

2017 Pitching Clinic - August 19th 2017 (pop-up - Closed)
We are offering a $10 pitching clinic this Saturday morning 8/19 at Rogers High School (9th grade field) 10:00am-11:00am. All abilities welcome! We have Melea Bruns and Katie Kemmetmueller- both successful Rogers High School pitchers who are college bound in a few weeks! Take advantage of their expertise and learn all you can!

*a bucket to sit on is always nice
