House softball is for girls 6 & under and 8 & under. Our goal is to teach the players the basic fundamentals of softball e.g.- throwing, hitting, fielding, etc. and allow them to experience the values of teamwork through games and practices.

Age Requirements:

Minnesota softball has published new age guidelines for the 2024 season in line with USA softball regulations.

The age of the player on August 31st, 2023 is their playing age for the 2024 season.

Game / Practice Nights of Play: 

This is subject to change due to field availability and coaches schedules!! Season typically runs May-June (8U) and June-July (6U).

Game / Practice Location of Play: 

Our house league will compete against teams in St. Michael, Rockford, Buffalo and Elk River.  The majority of our games /practices will be played in Rogers / Otsego, but we will also travel to the communities above.

Tryouts:

No tryouts for both 6U and 8U House Teams.

Fundraising:

All 8U House players will be required to participate in the summer ROSA fundraising raffle.  As part of the raffle each family will purchase 5 raffle tickets / per player ($50 total) which is included in registration cost.  The raffle tickets will be distributed to you at 8U uniform fitting.  The tickets can then be sold by the players for $10 a piece to family, friends, neighbors, etc.  Families keep the money collected when selling the raffle tickets. The raffle tickets will than be placed in a drawing occurring for monetary rewards at a ROSA event in May/June.  The proceeds raised as part of our fundraiser are used to fund team equipment and the ROSA training facility.
